Dear Parents,
As I am sure you have heard, I have been out on disability due to a back injury. I am particularly sad about this as I was just getting to know my students and discovering their individual talents and personalities. I have been planning from home as best I can, as well as grading their turned-in assignments. Fortunately, my daughter attends Granada and has been acting as my courier, bringing the papers back and forth. Due to my injury however, it has been a challenge to keep up with the workload, so for this report card, your child’s grade is listed as PR, meaning satisfactory progress has been made. I can reassure you that grades will be entered daily and will be accurate within the coming weeks, well before the next report card and that your student has been and will continue to be in good hands.
All the best,
Ms. Hopkins
I want to introduce Narae Lee (an exceptional certificated teacher with experience at Granada) who will be taking over my classes until my return.
Hello Parents!
My name is Narae Lee, and I will be your child’s English teacher until Ms. Hopkins recovers and gets back. Meanwhile, I intend to work closely with your child to continue with the curriculum. In collaboration with Ms. Hopkins and the English Department Chair, Mrs. Ragus, I am designing activities and curriculum that is aligned with the GHCHS English department goals for 11th and 12th grade students. I am able to access Ms. Hopkin’s Groupfusion account, so you and your students can keep informed about homework.
Sincerely,
Narae Lee
